Aware of the importance of creating an environmentally sustainable solution for the correct disposal of end-of-life coffee capsules and of giving consumers the option of local collection, 13 coffee brands, including Bogani, joined the Coffee Capsule Collection and Recycling project led by AICC.

So far, 6 municipalities have joined (Cascais, Guimarães, Lisbon, Cantanhede, Famalicão and Almada), guaranteeing coverage of more than 10% of the Portuguese population.

Cascais was the first municipality in the country to join the selective collection of coffee capsules in containers on public roads and, in one year of the project, it collected more than 7 tons of capsules.
