Who we are
NewCoffee - Indústria Torrefactora de Cafés, S.A., is currently the 4th player in the coffee market in Portugal.
Specialist in the development and marketing of high quality coffee blends, it has consolidated its position through a strategy of brand acquisitions: Sanzala in December 2007, Caffècel in June 2008, exclusive marketing rights for the Lavazza brand for the HoReCa channel in November 2008, Bogani and A Caféeira in October 2009 and Novo Dia in April 2016.
Focused on professional management and creating synergies between several acquired companies, NewCoffee has a vast and complementary portfolio of brands and products, which allows it to operate in various segments, with national market coverage and international presence in more than 20 countries.
NewCoffee has more than 150 employees who dedicate themselves every day to bring the taste of the best coffee and the best service to all customers.
The company has been awarded the status of SME Leader in recent years and has certifications in terms of environmental management, quality management, food control and product certification, always focusing on following the best international recommendations.

Factory and Production
NewCoffee uses the PROBAT roasted coffee
production system (world leader in roasting equipment), ensuring the high
quality and precision needed to deliver consistent blends over time.
As the
only vertical installation in Portugal to date, the production system allows
electronic control of the entire process, from the selection of different blends
for product formulation to the definition of roasting cycles, including three
product cleaning phases (in raw and roasted) before its vacuum packaging.
